He wasn't bad for Watford plus he scored a few important goals them,
Seems to have lost his way with Bolton though,

Shittu joined Premier League club Bolton Wanderers on 6 August 2008,[4] on a three-year contract, for £2m plus further add-ons, beating off competition from Scottish Club Rangers.[5]
Shittu made his debut for Bolton on the 30 August 2008 during their 0–0 draw with West Bromwich Albion, he then went on to start the next two games against Fulham and Arsenal. he then didn't make an appearance until the 28 December 2008 in a 1–0 loss at home to Wigan Athletic. Shittu went on to make 10 league appearances for Bolton in his first season at the club 9 of the 10 appearances were starts.
Shittu didn't make an appearances during the 2009/10 season only managing to make four appearances on the bench as an unused substitute.
In early May 2010 it was reported that Shittu was a target for Kayserispor of the Turkish league, with early reports suggesting that he was being offered a lucrative £1m a year contract.[6]
On 1 September 2010, the club announced that they had a come to an agreement with Shittu to release him from his contract.[7]

think danny would do well up here, because we have saw shittu in the epl and he wasnt the greatest then too say, he no good for us is imo daft, give the guy a chance before we slate him, if he actually comes.

With the huns record on CHs we should sign him right away.If there is one thing about them, they can spot a good CH,and seem to make a fortune selling them on.

worth a gamble as he'd be coming on a free, give him a 1 year deal and see how it goes from there

He's a big lad and good in the air, he wouldn't get bullied thats for sure....he earned a move to the EPL by being very good in the championship and hopefully he cab regain that form

I'd go for it....Bobo was a bomb-scare at times, but great at what he was good at....and he had Agathe's pace to bail him out on a regular basis....Danny S would have Cha and Iz, both fast....we need to stop our defenders being bullied.

Agreed. Sometimes you need to accept that what you actually need is a big lump of a lhaddie to break things up and stop forwards getting chances. We have plenty of football players in the middle of the park, we need a big hard central defence to stop us losing soft goals from set pieces and the like.

I'm sure Shittu would be a big help in that department Liam, I'd be happy to sign him as he is a better option than Loovens or Hoovield

I would be very happy to bring Danny in.
He is a good defender.
He may not have done that great in the prem but he would stroll the spl.
Get it done Celtic.

From Friday's evening times.
"Old Firm rivals Rangers failed to land him from Watford two years ago when they couldn’t agree to his wage demands."
I don't think it's any more likely that they will be able to agree them now, but you never know.

He may well be willing to lower his demands. He may also be willing to take a short term contract, say a season long deal.
