I just fail to see what Lenny likes about Broonie, IMO he cant pass, shooting, ffs i piss straighter and his temperment he reminds me of the firework that didnt go off, you just know if you go near it it will explode. One look at last nights game even had Stevie Wonder phoning Lenny telling him "now thats a midfield" The movement, passing (to our own players Scottie) teamwork and apart from one really bad tackle the midfield was a joy to behold, surely Lenny must see how much more cohesive a unit we where last night. Ledley showed how a midfielder should play, incisive passing and and tbh looking for all the world like a clone of Paul Lambert, take the hint Lenny time for Broonie to take a back seat the team is a better team with out him. Well thats my opinion for what its worth, whats your take on it guys.

He should have to try and play himself back into the team. As to the Captain's armband, it should be on big Dan's arm. I think that will help Scott as well, just concentrating on his game.

I think he sees a lot of himself in Broon without the skill, he has attitude but the wrong kind IMO, I think Lenny likes to have an enforcer in his team but to me, as has been said often, the team plays better in his absence, so Lenny has a major decision to make, the question is will he make the right one?

The only reason he gets picked is because he is the captain!! We play a lot better without him. give the armband to big Dan and sell him in Jan

I agree with the posts on here. Seems to me like Scott Brown has lost his way and I think it is healthy from a team perspective that he is no guarantee to play every week. Very handy player to have in the squad and on the bench.

I tend to agree with you bhoys , Broony is not the player I saw for Hibs, maybe Lenny still hopes by playing him he will ignite, and become the player we all hoped for.

its hard to imagine who would be dropped from the midfield to give Brown a game.

he sees a young lad with flair, skill to match the worlds finest, a winner, vision and outstanding technique!!.....if that isnt enough to get the fans off your back, then what is?

I see today he has declared himself fit for the game tomorrow, it will be interesting to see what Lenny does on that score.

Lenny wants to give Brown a chance and looked vindicated for the first few games. The important thing for me is that Lenny will sub him in a flash if he starts passing to the oppo, as was the case against Utrecht and Hearts. Lenny's biggest criticism of the team he inherited last season was lack of fight and determination. Brown's abundance in both must be what keeps him in contention, because it certainly isn't goals or defence splitting passes. The contract situation may be playing a part as by selecting him it preserves some market value should we sell him in January. If we don't play him he'll sign a prenuptial agreement with another club meaning we lose him for nothing and pay his wages for the whole season.
Hail Hail !

That's almost what I was going to post in reply to the question but since you beat me to it I will just say, "What ttt4m said." To be fair to Brown he's kept his emotions in check this season hasn't he?

Its Lenny"s choice to play him,and HE must think he is doing a job for him.Thats it.I think Loovens is a much more riskier player, but if Lenny plays him, then thats it as well.Doesnt matter what we think,if we keep winning then who is right?,Lenny or us?.

he is very very fit, hard and either hassels the opposition or puts the tackles in to break up plays, on his day he can be valuable in attack as well, too bad we dont see it that often
