What's Mancini playing at regarding Shay Given? according to the BBC website Mancini says Given can leave in January, I'm sure if Lennon was shown any encouragement he could have brought him in during the last window, I'm more than happy with Forster at the minute but he is, at the end of the day, a loanee and I would rather have a reliable keeper that is going to stay.
Hopefully Lennon is keeping tabs on Shay.

I hope Lennon is also. I would love to see Shay back at CP. I fear though another EPL team will come in and offer him more money than we can to keep him in England.

top keeper excellent pro,his wages and this league make it a non starter for me.. I have to go with that, I just can't see it. Especially if it's not considered a priority position with the young lhad doing so well, albeit he is on loan.

all these self proclaimed celtic fans playing down there are not interested in coming to us and ive stopped deluding myself that the heart rules over the bank balance with them we're as well trying to get forster on a permanent deal if he proves himself this year

I also think if Forster does well Newcastle will want him back, unless we can qualify for the CL, there'd be nothing to turn his head our way IMO.

It now seems Newcastle are asking the EPL for special dispensation to sign Given on loan as Steve Harper is out for a while.

According to the BBC that is the case regarding Newcastle and Given, btw if we had Given on loan for the season at least there may have been a chance of keeping him permanently, I'm not so sure I'd say the same about Forster, unfortunately.

Depends how much time is left on his contract when the loan period is up, and what he himself wants to do.

If Forster has a few more good games I would take a punt on him.
