I totaly agree with the statement ,"we score first and we will win ",walter WILL play 5 at the back against us,he dosnt know any other way,he comes to actualy play us and we have enough pace to give them a doing, walter knows this.

To beat the Huns this is what we have to do on the day... 1) Play them at their own game. Walter's tactics against us often start with one of the Huns kicking one of our players early in the game to set the tone. Do you remember when Barry Robson elbowed Christian Dailly a minute into the 2-1 win in April 2008?? We need to do things like that. Give them a taste of their own medicine and let them know they're in for a game. Be tough in the tackle and don't be afraid. Full 100% commitment. 2) Take our chances when they fall to us. This means SAMARAS SHOULD NOT BLOODY PLAY!!!!!! He squanders so many chances for us, it's unreal. I appreciate his confidence is gone and it's not easy when thousands of fans boo you however in that case we shouldn't risk playing him in high stakes games like Old Firm matches. I also realise the perfect remedy to get fans off his back would be to score the winner against The Huns however the likliehood with him is he'd score the winner then go back to being awful the next week. Too inconsistent and shouldn't be played in these games. 3) The referee needs to be one of the "good ones"... which is a rarity but sometimes it happens... sometimes.... 4) Luck 5) Wind them up. The fans and the players need to get under The Huns skin. Provoke idiots like Lafferty and they'll react and do something stupid and show them up for the clowns they are. 6) Need to be strong in midfield. It's likely the Huns will play McCulloch and Edu in the centre, so they have 2 big physical cloggers to bully us. We need to counter that with a central midfield that can get in about them. 7) STOP PLAYING HIGH BALLS INTO THE BOX!!!! Take Old Man Weir on on the deck. No use pinging in high balls when Weir and Bougherra just keep heading them away. Give the ball to Maloney and let him run at the Old Codger. This will bring success, I guarantee it. 8) Pass and move. Rangers are not a physically quick side. So when we're passing we can't have players being static. Keep moving and pulling them out of position, make options for the guy on the ball. 9) A penalty for us wouldn't go a miss haha! 10) Last but not least... The Thunder. A full house at Celtic Park and an intense atmosphere.

forget the football they always come looking for a fight, give them a fight, hit them back harder do not let the hammer thrower mentality they use to grind us down "fight fight fight" then when they are beat the football will take over.

I am viewing this from the other end of the telescope. Rather than what do we need to do to beat the huns, what do the huns need to do to beat us?
I am reminded of the song; " Said Philip to Lizzie as they sat down to dine"......" To beat Glasgow Celtic you will have to deport the fighting mad Irish who give them support"
Bring it on.

It's too early to select our best eleven to take on the Rangers, we need more games, but, make no mistake ,whatever eleven we field will have a tough match on their hands. The Gers have a settled, experienced team and in Kenny Miller they have a a striker who is now showing the form that I always felt he was capable of when he was with us, he will be a threat. However once we have established the right blend we have the players of the right calibre to win.

In miller's case however I think he is just as liable to miss as he is to score - in my view another enigma - so current form, admittedly good, is likely to change very quickly.

The way to beat a packed defence is simple, get to the byeline and cut it back, even Fergie said after the game that is what he told his team to do,they just never did.Let Paddy loose on them.

I don't think they'll use the same tactics as they did against Man Utd. I can see them playing a 4-4-2 relying on Miller and Weiss etc. All we need to do is make sure the defence is tight and hold their own vs the huns attacking options. If Izzy and Cha can get up field and supply the chances for stokes and hooper they'll take them and hopefully we can do like MON did to Rangers, 6-2...

In the 1-1 game on Jan 3rd( I think it was) we destroyed the huns by playing quick, incisive football that left them chasing shadows.
The problem for us in that match was we did not take our chances and they stole a point that they should never have had.
Imo we play the same way. We play them off the park but do not miss the chances that come our way.
I would go with a 4-5-1:
I would play Juarez at right back in this one and a fit Rogne alongside big Danny.
Iza and Fraser would be certain starters for me.
Broony, Kayal and Ledley should be too much for the Rangers midfield.
Maloney and McCourt either side of the central midfield trio will cause the hun defence all sorts of problems.
Up top for me would be Stokes.
One thing is for sure Rangers are beatable.

We will be a few points ahead of them, they will need to try and play football, it will open the game up, Paddy can rip the hole off the el yin at the back.
Job done, Next!

Paddy would not be in my starting 11. Certainly not if young Forrest is back. He plays the right and Shaun plays the left. If there were 5 in the middle it would be those two plus Kayal, Jauarez and Brown. That allows 4-3-3 in attack.
