Simple davie, make sure we win all our games before we play the huns then play them at their own game.... the huns WILL drop points before we play them on the 24th... imagine watty,s face if we set out the same as them... .... a dose of his own medicine i say....lol,....

They won't do that against us, not to the same extent anyway. I think we have the players to break them down anyway, we can attack them down either wing, or through the middles. We also have the mercurial Paddy if required, to dance through their defence.

They play that way in Europe but never in the SPL. I can't see them playing that way against us. One up front maybe but with an attacking midfield. I think if Celtic play good passing football and have good movement all over the park we will simply be to strong for them.

As long as we dont lose the first goal, then they will not park the bus, we score first then they come out, then we win !

I'd play 5 in the midfield..stifle them and attack at speed.

First goal is crucial, get ahead then they will have to come at us.
Also crucial that we dont fall asleep after scoring as we did in the New Year game at CP.

If you were picking the team just now it would have to be Stokes and Murphy starting, with Hooper on the bench. He has not been playing and the others have. However who knows what will happen between then and now and who will be on form.

They wont play as they did at united but they will still play with caution as thats the way the cardigan sets up his teams when faced with a team who is at least on a par with them.Get the ball down and go at them with speed. We have the players to do it

I would flood the midfield and see how he reacts.if we played Paddy they would kick him black and blue.

their point against man u was down to poor play by fergies reserves, more than great play by the huns,we will come out and play as we have been and score a few goals and dish out as much rough tactics as the huns will undoubtedly do.Really confident of giving this mob a lesson

I saw the thread title and immediately thought "With big sticks" then I realised what the question meant:) In all seriousness though if they play the way the did against Utd against us I'd be very surprised. I can see them going with Kenny Miller up front on his own with 5 at the back still, just they'll be a bit more adventurous with it. We stick big Dan on Miller and tell him to let Miller know he's in a game very early on. I can't see Miller getting much spare change out of the big Swede. I'd say Brown should let Davis know he's in a game early on but Brown would probably take it too far, and end up off the park, so just tell him to stick to Davis like a bad rash. If we nullify Davis and Miller we're half way there I reckon. We play 5 in midfield, and we use Forrest to get behind them with Juarez and Maloney getting forward to support when he does. Brown and Kayal can sit back. Brown breaks up their play and gives it to Kayal who so far seems to have a better range of passing than Brown. Stokes or Hooper are told to stay in and around the box none of this running out to the wing stuff. If we are struggling to break them down still come the hour mark Pele McCourt comes and skins the lotta of them for a great goal. Basically they have the ball we are 4-5-1 when we have it going forward we have a 4-3-3. If Laughatme comes on Big Johan who should be registered as a player coach in time for this game is to be stripped and ready to go on and mark him.

Thats what i say 4-5-1.Win the midfield and we win the match, we have players now who can shoot from distance, just tee them up and let them shoot.

Do what they do ,,moan about officials before the game and put pressure on them to give us every call,,,,its worked for them in the past 100 and odd years.

We will beat them if we get a fair crack of the whip from the MIB.
For all the sh*t we played last year i willl never forget the refereeing decisions we had weighed so heavily against us.
Saying that 5 in midfield with Maloney as one of the 5 playing just behind Murph.

I would also go with the 4-5-1 becoming 4-3-3 when we are going forward. Oh and can you tell whoever let's them know they are in a game not to turn to the bench and wink after they do it. That's just embarrasing and makes you look like a thug, in a team of thugs, being managed by a thug and supported by thugs. The above post was brought to you by the word thug and the numbers 4, 5 and 1.

Presently or soon if you like I see two ways, some may agree some might no. One we can score more goals we beat them, and two wait till Walter Smith retires! LoL
