What has this list got in common ?
JINKY
HENRIK
BAXTER
BEST
PELE
They were all of course superb footballers,in fact they were all the cream of the crop, other players simply stood in awe at there ability, they could only dream of having a fraction of the talent each possessed, but thats not the connection. What if we add our PADDY to the list,he sure has a raw talent, but on that list ?,those who remember ALL those on the list will remember how time stood still every time they got the ball, how the expectation grew when they had the ball,my god they were worth the price of a ticket alone,PADDY is doing the same is he not ? expectations grow when he has the ball, you just feel something xtra special is just seconds away, but thats not the connection. So what is the connection and why should PADDY be on such a hugely talented list ?,they were all born with that talent, when they were popped out by dear auld maw they already had the talent, you cant teach it,you cant coach it and you sure as hell cant buy it,you are born with it and so was PADDY,you cant teach such talent certain players simply have it from birth, players who are told"just go and do what you do best,be yourself" so he does belong on that list,a list of natural born footballers

I think the post/thread is a bit OTT, Paddy is without doubt a fine player but to place him alongside that illustrious company is plain silly, he's done it in Scotland, in the SPL where there are very few players in opposition teams who you'd call classy, give him a break ffs.
If he does it all season and maybe for the next 4 or 5 seasons then and only then can he ever be considered to be anywhere near world class, sorry for sounding negative but I think more realism is required.

To be fair Jas he never called Paddy world class but a natural born footballer.

That was, to me, the gist of the post, natural or not that list ARE world class, Paddy is some way short SO FAR, that's not to say he couldn't get there fitness allowing.

fair do's Jas. Paddy will never be world class. Certainly if he doesn't stay 100% fit or by playing in the SPL.
