WONDER WHO THE TRIALIST IS, MAYBE WINCHESTER?
News image danny's bhoys hit motherwell for six
Newsroom Staff CELTIC’S Development Squad recorded a 6-1 victory over Motherwell at Lennoxtown today, with Gary Hooper among the scorers.
Young Celt Filip Twardzik also scored with a header from a Charlie Mulgrew cross, while Ki Sung Yueng also netted. And there was a double from a trialist in the Hoops ranks, while Motherwell also scored an own goal.
Speaking after the game, Development Squad coach Danny McGrain said: “It was a great run-out for some of the fringe players like Charlie Mulgrew, Mark Wilson and Marc Crosas, who all did well.
“Niall McGinn lasted an hour and was very tired but he’s been out a while and it won’t do him any harm.
“We have a game next week and he will play in that too. He could train all week but it’s just games he needs now.
“Gary Hooper did well too. He was a bit tired and sore but he got 90 minutes under his belt which was great.”
CELTIC: Cervi (Giorando); Wilson, Hooiveld (Misun), Rogne (Gallacher), Mulgrew (Kurakins); McGinn (Towell), Crosas (P Twardzik), Ki, F Twardzik (Gormley); Trialist (Keatings), Hooper.

This is from The Sun a few days ago, I wasn't aware he was here and I imagine he's the trialist mentioned...
RUSSELL LATAPY has urged Trinidad superkid Shahdon Winchester to seize his chance of a dream move to Celtic.
Teenager Winchester - hailed as the new Dwight Yorke - arrived at Parkhead yesterday on a two-week trial.
And Latapy insists the dreadlocked 18-year-old will show Neil Lennon he's ready for a crack at the big time.
Striker Winchester, who has already been capped by Trinidad and Tobago, has been eyed by a string of English clubs. But Lennon has edged ahead in the race for his signature by bringing him over to Scotland from his local side W Connection.
Latapy said: "Shahdon is a fantastic young talent, a real little star.
Our fans love him because he's one of the brightest young stars our country has produced.
"With the right guidance, the right opportunity and the right club he can go a long way.
"You need luck in football and it depends what Lennon wants him to do.
"But he's got the ability, no doubt about it.
"If I had to make a comparison I'd say Shahdon is like Dwight Yorke.
"He's got a lot of the same attributes. He runs at people, is super-strong and loves scoring goals.
"If he takes this chance and impresses, then he would be a fantastic player for Celtic."
Winchester has already knocked back a deal from Portuguese side Sporting Braga, with Dutch giants Ajax also keen.
But after seeing how much of a success Latapy was here at Falkirk, Hibs and Rangers, Winchester would love the chance to emulate him.
Latapy, now boss of Trinidad and Tobago with Yorke as his assistant, added: "I didn't want to say too much to Shahdon. I wanted him to find out for himself.
"He's one of the kids who plays local to me and works with the national squad all the time.
"He's powerful for a young man and has great composure on the ball.
"He's not afraid to work hard and maybe he's just a little bit shy.
"But his confidence should soar if he gets the chance at Celtic. He'll win a lot of games."

Is it because the huns pulled out of the reserve league therefore rending it meaningless we now have a "development squad" ffs?
