Eh naw, 1973/74 we won the last league of 9 in a row at Easter Rd plus the Scottish cup 3-0 against Dundee Utd with a certain hunface Andy Gray playing for them. We had already played in the final of the league cup, December 1973 during the power cuts, against Dundee losing 1-0. A couple of thousand of us in the sleet drenched Celtic end fought the polis hand to hand to get over the fence ( the polis were at one side - us at the other) into the North Enclosure and that poxy wee bit of cover under the North Stand. The polis won btw. You win a treble in a season admin not a year. [/quote]we won the last of the 9 at falkirk, a 1-1 draw.

We had 3 games left after falkirk and we drew them all.according to KDS and the thousands who went to brockville that day myself included, thats were the title was won. the fans snapped the bar that day after the game celebrating.

Someone said earlier they'd prefer the players to do their talking on the pitch and I fully agree with this. We've already had Cha talking about trebles and now stokes. Considering we've been dumped out of three cup competitions in Lennons short time in charge, I think talk of trebles is somewhat premature. Instead of talk of trebles the players should just be saying they will do everything they can to get Celtic Park full and make it a fortress again. As far as can we win the treble. Ask me on Scottish cup final day.

whilst i agree we can win the treble, am i the only one that wishes the players would just shut the feck up?do your talking on the pitch please guys. Totally agree with this .....ffs Caldwell used to do my head in, I fecking hate it when I open the paper & we have one of our players saying we are going to do this & that ....If you won the league by shouting your gub off in the papers we would be past 10 in a row by now well past it. You don't win the league by shouting your mouth off in the papers do your talking on the park. League will do me
