www.celticfc.net/news/stories/news_080910153412.aspxSecond-string cruise to win over MortonMark Henderson A CELTIC XI eased to a comfortable 4-0 win over Morton at Lennoxtown this afternoon. The Hoops quickly raced into a two-goal lead thanks to goals from Sean Fitzharris and Patrik Twardzik, and added a third before the break. Callum Bagshaw sealed the victory with an excellent strike from distance midway through the second-half. Danny McGrain’s side featured a mix of youth and experience, with the likes of the Twardzik twins, James Keatings and Callum Bagshaw starring alongside Thomas Rogne, Paddy McCourt, Charlie Mulgrew and Marc Crosas. And McGrain felt the match had been a useful exercise and a good learning experience for the younger players. “In the first-half we started sharply and kept it going. They couldn’t live with us and we played some nice stuff,” he said. “It was a good learning experience for the younger boys as they got to play with good players, while it also gave them an insight into playing against harder, physical players from the First Division.”

How many minutes did Hooper play? That's good to hear he was able to play. Maybe he'll be on the sub bench for the weekend match.
