was good in his last season for rangers and looked good for scotland but has been rubbish for the last 2 years and his wages are inflated big time. i'd prefer him to cha but dont see it

Yes, it's about what he can bring to our team, not where he previously was.

He's a cracking player, but is an odious cretin of a human being.
Some ex huns don't bother me,Hutton on the other hand is one who makes my blood boil.
So that's a no then.

would he actually want to play for us anyhow I would say there's as much chance of me lumbering Kelly Brook as there would be him wanting to sign for us. ;D

would he actually want to play for us anyhow probably naw, but thats not the question, i think if available he'd be a good player for celtic.he gets down the wings and crosses decent balls into the area.

I think no matter how good the player, if he played for Rangers many of our support would never accept him

Yes i would sign Hutton/Boyd anyone basically that would improve Celtic..
As Jock stein used to say, he didnt worry about signing the good catholic players asap.. as he knew the huns wouldnt touch them.
He concentrated on signing up the promising protestants asap. so that limited the bigoted mob, to the left overs. lol
Alan Hutton would be a great signing, cant see it happening, but never say never.

I don't think he's that great. A player who went to England at an inflated price on inflated wages who subsequently became a "better" player because of it.

I didn't mean to suggest you or anyone else said he was great. I just think that he is not a £9m £30k/week player. It's just the usual case of the EPL paying a lot for a player and he suddenly is a far better player than he was previously.

Yes i would,if the price was rite,i was well chuffed when he left the orcs,i think he is a cracking defender, not had the best 18 months down south but that dosnt make him a bad player.

Whatever benefits the team we all support. We all know he is a w#nker but he helps the team then no problem.

definitely would sign him and any good player no matter their ex club Huttons a good player but my concern is his wages and lack of first team play and anyway look at all the experience he has we need as much experience esp. at back
