Posters on many different Celtic forums over the years have said that although we cannot compete financially with teams like ManU, Chelsea, Barcelona, etc. there are good players out there who can be signed for reasonable money if we would just go look.
I think maybe the signing of Juarez, Kayal, and Izaguirre has proved them to be right.
Can't wait for the Hearts game! ;D

They have potential to be good players for us, with an eye to possible transfer re-sale.
Altho ive never liked the thought of Celtic being a selling club.

Every club's a selling club Bry.
It's just a question of how much.
Even ManU sold van Nistilrooy 'cause the price was right.

Hopefully all the players will learn from that match and realise what we are all about.

I think it is a sign of the times. We are having to look for promising talent who can progress and have a decent sell on value.

The time to make judgements will be after the first hun game.By that time they should all be bedded in,and have gotten to know each other better.Hopefully Rogne will have had a few games behind him,but I do agree, they do look like class players.I"ve always said the europe games came far too early for us,very difficult to make judgements. We will be a selling team for the for a few years to come I"m afraid.

I know mate, i thought they sold Van Nistilrooy after him & fergie fell out ? It's just when a club strives for success & the fans crave truelly talented players, when we finally have one, it feels a let down selling them.

I have been impressed by Kayal and Juarez, the only thing that worried me was why Lenny decided not to play either of them at Fir Park last Sunday.
I hope they aren't going to be seen as 'home players' the way Nakamura used to be for the large part.It was interesting he went with a British pairing in Brown and Ledley in what was a bit of a battle at times on a tight park.
Hopefully it was just a one off,and i'm reading too much into it.
I went along to Fir Park really looking forward to seeing how they adapted to a tough away game, and was like most fans at the game pretty gutted not to see them feature at all.

Except Fabregas...obviously!

I think Juarez and Kayal can and will be big players for us this season however a bit of me is pissed/worried about Lennon's mentality of when it comes to the crunch, he feels it's better to go with the "British" midfield pairing of Broony and Ledley. He sees them as being more up for the fight.

horses for courses, lenny got his tactics right last week, we won.the performance of the team v st mirren was the best i've seen in years, i'll expect the same midfield that played that day to start v hearts, ledley will go into the midfield and probably replace james forrest.

i have been very impressed by these 3 additions, but as been said before every club in the world is a selling club, and if we get offered good money for any of our players imo they should be moved on, if it is good for the club and we can bring in or move up a young bhoy from the youths

Scott Browns interview for the Daily record seemed to indicate to me that they are all happy with each other. The fact they like to play along side each other and have an understanding has got to be good. BUT that went right oot the window against Utrecht away. In saying that, they are new to each other and personally I wont slate them for that perfomance. The time to judge is Xmas time. By then we will have had something to judge over a period of time. I think it will be one of the best midfields in Britain if they all play to thier potential.
