Now that the first international break of the season is here do you think it has come at a good time for us ?.After the mauling last Thursday i thought we looked jaded on Sunday, yes the conditions were not good and mother well defended very deep, but i thought heres a team that badly needs a change of scenery and a chance to re-group,i honestly think our players will come back re-vitalized and ready to go,for once i think the break will do us a power of good.

Good point, if it gets Hooper back and gives Neil a chance to get all of the new players training together then that could be a good thing.

How many of our palyers are away on international duty though, therefore NOT giving them the chance to gel as a unit....

Good thing, as we are trying to mould ourselves into a unit, a TEAM, if you like....this can't happen in a couple of weeks.

Good point KK, never really thought of that.
If they were really playing well as a team it would definitely be the wrong time, but I don't think that has happened yet so it may well be a decent time.

They have only played three matches and then a break? If they had gotten one goal at Utrecht, we wouldn't want them to stop and break momentum. They just got off a World Cup six /seven weeks ago and they have to do Euro qualifiers? Nuts

we will have players off to all parts of the globe, flying for many hours and then they will be coached differently and maybe played differently. we will be lucky to get all the players back by next thursday after the tuesday games. the first the celtic coaching team will get to work with them all together will be friday, and thats the ones who don't return injured.

Injuries are always a risk in international, getting away from glasgow for a while i honestly believe will do them a power of good, sometimes all it takes is to get away, even if you are still working, all good points made but i think it has come at a good time.

I think it came at the right time. How many players do we actually have away? Only broony with Scotland anyway.
I hope that most are still around the club and can get some decent training sessions in together.
Afterall half the first team squad have been with us for about 10 weeks or less.

I think that this break is better to have now than in a few more weeks. Let's just get it out of the way is my way of thinking.
