From Video Celts: videocelts.com/2010/08/blogs/john-marsden-moves-to-hamilton-acciesJohn Marsden moves to Hamilton AcciesPosted on Tuesday, 31st August 2010 by Joe McHugh Youth team striker John Marsden has joined Hamilton Accies on a season long loan. Marsden joined Celtic two years ago from school and had been attached to Wigan Athletic where he earned a great reputation as a goalscorer. Celtic moved quickly to offer Marsden professional terms as a 16-year-old which English clubs weren’t allowed to do. Injuries have limited his opportunities at Celtic with Hamilton able to offer him regular football and the chance to progress towards the first team. James Keatings has been the first choice striker for the Celtic u-19 side this season with Liam Gormley and Bahrudin Atajic appearing as substitutes. Last season’s top scorer Greig Spence is currently out injured.

This might spur the lad onto better things. playing regular first team football does wonders for confidence.
Perhaps he will attract Neils attention if he does well at Hamilton. ( Good Luck John )
Charlie Adam was fantastic at st mirren, when loaned out, harshly treated at Rangers & now has carved out a very good career down south.

Good luck at my "Hometown hoops" John. I will be looking out for the match reports online in the Hamilton advertiser.
