Should Lenny rest players? For me no, every game is an important learning curve for this new team and we have had too many cup slip ups of late so time to put them to the sword, 3-0 for me

I would field a few of the fringe players in this one.
I would line up with a 4-3-3:
Zaluska Wilson (if fit) Rogne Hooiveld Mulgrew
Juarez Crosas Ki
Stokes Hooper Sammy

I think he'll make 3 or 4 changes to play people like Mulgrew,KSY,McGinn and Rogne,
Though a couple of these may just get on the bench,

I'd be going with a full strength team or as near as to it as possible. We should be aiming for the treble this year and the new look squad need game time.
I'll go 3-1 The Hoops.

Maybe start Zaluska but go with a strong team that can run ICT off the park

Thinking about this, we need to bring back the fear in other people of coming to Celtic Park. The only way to do that is to dish out a few high scoring defeats. Other teams are coming with a degree of confidence that they can get a result. They should be coming to Paradise hoping not to get hammered.
I would play a strong team, win the tie, and send out a message. It would also be a good message to our fans, a statement of intent from Neil if you will.

A must win game and an impressive performance is needed after a mediocre up front show on Sunday, I would like to see Hooper getting a game with either Murphy or Stokes. No other changes apart from those forced by injuries to McCourt and Brown.

Agree with Gerry, time to send out a message, draw a line in the sand, bring back the thunder.....and you don't do that tinkering with the team and the last thing we need is a burst bubble, a kick in the proverbials, a dent in the confidence.

"Paddy McCourt and Scott Brown are out of Celtic's Co-operative Insurance Cup third-round tie against Inverness at Parkhead on Wednesday."
Here is the playable Hoops (from): Forster, Loovens, Cha Du-Ri, Majstorovic, Izaguirre, Murphy, Ledley, Samaras, Maloney, Wilson, Rogne, Hooiveld, Hooper, Stokes, Kayal, Zaluska, Juarez, Ki, Towell, Mulgrew.
.................Forster.................. ......Cha - Maj - Jos - Izzy....... .....Juarez - Kayal - Ledley...... ................Maloney................. ...........Stokes - Hooper..........
That's my team. I'd bring Forrest on as a sub. I think we'll be seeing Hooper too. And I'd have McGinn play.

I don't think that he is fit mate and he also isn't in the lost of playable celts. When he's fit I hope he and Forrest are battling it out.

I hope Lennon hasn't got a problem with Juarez as he hasn't started for a while, I don't see a lot wrong with your team maybe apart from Rogne for Jos.

There has been reasons for Juarez not starting. He'll be constantly in the starting XI soon enough.

Manager: Cup progress is important
by Mark Henderson
THE Co-operative Insurance Cup holds special memories for Neil Lennon. It was the first trophy he lifted as a Celtic player and the first one he won as captain of the side.
On Wednesday evening, the Hoops will host Inverness Caley Thistle in the third-round of the competition. And the Irishman is focused on getting a positive result and progressing to the latter stages of the tournament.
“It’s a competition that has been good to me,” said the Celtic manager. “It was my first trophy as a Celtic player and my first trophy as a Celtic captain.
“Of course, we are out of Europe now so it’s become more prominent in our thoughts. It’s a competition we want to progress in and one we would like to win.
“I am just pleased it’s a home tie,” he added. “You always want a home tie early in the cup stages and it’s a competition that I would like to progress in and I think it’s important for our season that we do that.”
However, Lennon will certainly not be underestimating the threat of the Highlanders. He has first-hand knowledge of how dangerous they can be in cup competition and will be relaying that message to his players.
“I think Inverness will come and have a go. Obviously they have history with us having a great result here 10 years ago. Then in 2003 they turned us over up there as well.
“We just have to have the right approach and attitude, and do all the basics of the game well and hopefully the quality we have will take over eventually.
“We have to try and be patient and wear teams down and play at a tempo that they find difficult.”
With some players carrying knocks from the weekend win over Kilmarnock, there may be some changes to the starting XI. But it will still be a strong Celtic team that takes to the field.
“Without giving too much away there are a few carrying bumps and bruises and we have got a squad with a few players needing some game time as well,” he said. “But that is not taking Inverness lightly at all because those who are coming in are quality players and it will be a strong team that we field tomorrow night.
“The players are in a good frame of mind at the minute and the majority of them are fit and well and are looking forward to playing.”

Ki's free kick was a cracker but the keeper's one handed save was up to the task.
