After a year of injuries we are beginning to see the old Shaun and his form is getting better all the time do you feel that the wee man is back to his best or he will get a lot better?.

He's not back to his best, but he's had a good start to the season and he will reach that level if he continues on the way he is.

Getting there very quickly.Remember the"honest mistakes" game at Mordor last season?.He was ripping Weir a new one that day, thats what he can do.If he maintains this form, and stays fit,it will go a long way to helping us win this league.

I agree he is getting somewhere near where he should be. Has to be more clynical in front of goal though.

He's looked good so far this season. I think Shaun plays like a player who knows he's on thin ice with the support and therefore puts a lot of pressure on himself to play mistake free football. Hopefully he can relax a bit now in front of goal and if he does his scoring touch will only improve.
Playing him in the middle of the park is important for his success. I always felt that Maloney and McGeady were never wing players and they suffered as a result from being put out wide.

Definitely think he's best played in the centre, just behind a poacher.

The wee man is getting a run of games under his belt which can only make him better. His ability is there for all to see. He's never been a composed finisher under pressure though. Goals from half chances or out of the blue are more his style. Pity, as if he was an all round finisher he'd be mutt's nuts.
Hail Hail !

Definitely think he's best played in the centre, just behind a poacher. Yes, behind Stokes perhaps. Maloney is a creative shooter but he hasn't regained all his coordination yet following injury. Same complaint I had about McGeady: doesn't get rid of the ball quick enough sometimes

Yeah I think he's better just off the two main strikers, got to realise when to pass though!

Still more to come from him, needs to be better in front of goal and put the chances away.

I think he is an all round better player than Aiden is though. More direct and more of a team player and with Aiden gone it gives guys like Maloney and young Forrest the chance to shine.

Shaun will have to be at his best, and consistently so, or he won't get into the team. That's the beauty of healthy competition.
Ledley, Juarez, Kayal, Brown, Forrest, McCourt. If we're playing 4 in the middle then he has to be better than those. If he wants to be a striker he has to be better at that than Hooper, Stokes, Murphy, Samaras.
It's a tough one so he will have to be at his best if he wants to start.

not yet, the season he won poty he'd be burying those sitters but he's on his way. must play in the centre tho, not a winger

hard to say because im not sure what formation is the best at the moment. probably play him off either hooper or stokes - then again ive been impressed with murph's target man ability
what i like about lenny is he'll play a different formation depending on the opponent as opposed to for example, strachan's neverchanging 4 4 2

He is playing very well just now he has to keep it up and be played in a central position to acheive this,he has good vision and touch, his decision making could be better but that will come when he plays on a regular basis,he is imo one of our best players, lets hope he stays injury free.

He came on at the weekend and settled the whole middle of the park down. I think we had lost our way until he did that.

When Celtic attack the players spread the opposition with their runs and Maloney and co are great at spotting the runs, at Parkhead we are playing extremely well.
