After demanding an apology, then reporting the ref when the game was over, will this ignorant, fat-headed dick now apologise after watching the BBC highlights, showing Murphy was CLEARLY onside at the 1st goal???? I think not....like Hearts, he has no class....

The only way to sicken people like him is to be the best and beat them home and away every time
Jim duffy's remarks about Mr Smith were quality though !;D

Just seen the goals on Sportscene there.Great to see they were both onside and Rob McLean and Billy Reid highlighting the fact GIRUY Jeffries! Pity they didn't show the Samaras disallowed goal, from my seat in the North Stand he looked to be onside.

I sit behind the dugout and both Jeffries and Browns language was unprintable. Bear in mind this part of the stand is a family section, these two should be held to account just like any fan would for using language of this nature.

The following from a Jambo message board. It seems that the Hearts fans are now slating the linesman for getting it right. By their warped logic he was lucky to call it right because it was so tight that he should have called it wrong, therefore he was wrong in calling it right. And he should be sacked. My head hurts.:
"What I don't get about the first goal is that now that it's being claimed to have been just onside, after lots of replays and freeze-framing, how, to the naked eye, could the linesman definatly seen that it was onside? Surely he must have felt it was offside? He has gotten lucky with it being claimed to being onside, but either he was cheating, is truely magic, or genuinly didn't see it because he wasn't up with play - but if that's the case, then he shouldn't be a linesman at this level."

That's nonsense.
The forward gets the benefit of the doubt, so it should only be called off-side if the linesman is certain. Not the other way around.
You don't make an on-side decision. You make an off-side decision.

He is more to be pitied, his rage is that of the hunnish rabidity, the man sees red when he sees green, he is beelzebub when the righteous turn up play his team of hacking scum.
I pity his wife more.

It won't stop the hacks claiming these were controversial and when we inevitably have "honest mistakes" go against us, we'll be told that these things rightly even themselves out.
I can see the headline - NO CONSPIRACY, JUST A BLIND HUN REF - sorry made that last bit up.
